Pine Shadows-Montana Summer

This is an original plein air oil painting done in August 2013. It was a hot summer morning with bright light and rich color that made for cool shadows and warm direct light. Notice that I am standing in the shadow otherwise I would be drenched with sweat!

This is an 8" x 8" oil on canvas panel that is varnished and ready to place in a frame.
